Bulgarian Premier League side FC Neftochimik have signed three players as they bid to strengthen ahead of the championship play-offs.
Three new players
The Burgas-based side have signed Dejan Kekezovic from Yugoslav second division club FK Spartak Subotica, Sasa Vicikinez, a left-sided defender, from Yugoslav first division side FK Hajduk Kula and FC Spartak Varna defender Ilian Tashev.
Transfer fee disagreement
Coach Dimiter Stoichev has also been looking at Kula midfield players Sasa Viceknez and Uros Stamatovic but attempts to secure permanent moves have broken down after a disagreement with the Yugoslav club over transfer fees.
Hajduk director Radomir Knezevic said that he was "not satisfied with the sum" Neftochimik were offering for the players. "I went to Bulgaria at the beginning of the week and I told Vicekenez and Stamatovic to come back home," Knezevic said on Friday. "I am expecting them to be in training tomorrow with the rest of the squad."
All of the Kula players who Stoichev is interested in are midfield players as Neftochimik are short of cover in that area. Captain and playmaker Todor Kiselichkov is out of contention until the end of the season through injury and Stanislav Zhekov could shortly be joining Varna.
