
Part of the annual UEFA Club Football Awards, which ran from 1998 until 2010, the UEFA Club Goalkeeper of the Year roll of honour was dominated by two men – Oliver Kahn, rewarded on four occasions between 1999 and 2002, and three-times winner Petr Čech. Júlio César was the first winner from outside Europe in 2010, the final edition of the award.
