Luccin causes Celta concern

RC Celta de Vigo have lost French midfield player Peter Luccin for up to a month after he suffered ligament damage in his left knee.

Bitter blow
The 24-year-old hurt his knee in the early stages of Celta's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal FC in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, limping out of the fray after 27 minutes. Tests since have shown he needs at least four weeks to recover, which will be a bitter blow to struggling Celta.

More worries
Coach Radomir Antic's side are 18th in the Primera División and meet title-chasing Valencia CF at the Balaídos on Sunday. Luccin is not Antic's only concern either as Sebastián Méndez has a knee injury and Sylvinho a calf problem, and both could be missing for some time too.
