Paris Saint-Germain FC squeezed past Dijon FCO to reach the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France courtesy of Nenê's early strike while Brandão scored twice as Olympique de Marseille brought fourth division FC Bourg-Péronnas's run to an end.
Carlo Ancelotti's PSG made an impressive start and forged ahead on 15 minutes when Nenê capitalised on a mistake by Baptiste Reynet in the Dijon goal to give the Ligue 1 pacesetters the lead. Hosts Dijon improved after the break with the introduction of on-loan Chelsea FC midfielder Gaël Kakuta but they failed to take the game into extra time as PSG held on to maintain their hopes of a domestic double.
In the night's other round of 16 tie, OM had little trouble in eliminating visitors Bourg-Péronnas. Two goals from Brandão and one from Jordan Ayew ensured that Ousmane Diaby's strike on 74 minutes was only a consolation. OM and PSG join Montpellier Hérault SC, Valenciennes FC, Olympique Lyonnais, Stade Rennais FC and third-tier Gazelec FCO Ajaccio in the draw for the last eight.
