Zuurman sticks with Zwolle

FC Zwolle coach Hennie Spijkerman has secured Bert Zuurman for another season at the Eredivisie strugglers.

Bert Zuurman has committed himself to another season at Hennie Spijkerman's relegation-threatened Eredivisie side FC Zwolle.

Long career
The 31-year-old striker joined from BVO Emmen in 2001/02, having previously played for played for FC Groningen, SC Heracles, SC Heerenveen, BV Veendam and Eindhoven VV. He has extended his expiring Zwolle contract until the summer of 2005.

Relegation worry
Zwolle currently lie 16th in the Eredivisie and will face at least a relegation play-off. They are looking for victory at Feyenoord on Sunday in their final regular season game to ensure SBV Vitesse and FC Volendam cannot overtake them and condemn them to automatic releagtion.
