Iliev joins Metalurg

PFC Metalurg Radomir have signed Valentin Iliev from second division side PFC Botev Vratsa.

In a bid to strengthen their defence and improve on their current sixth position in the Ukrainian Premier League, FC Metalurh Zaporizhzhya have signed defender Valentin Iliev from Bulgarian second division side PFC Botev Vratsa for a fee of  €57,000.

Star man
The 21-year-old was Vratsa's Footballer of the Year in 2001, but despite doing well for his club, he has never received a call-up to the Bulgaria Under-21 side.
