Miller recalled

Manager Billy Stark was left with only teenager Kevin Cuthbert after Blackburn Rovers FC recalled Alan Miller to their squad for the English League Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur FC on Sunday.

Wanted experience
Although 19-year-old Cuthbert had impressed in goal, Stark was keen to bring a more experienced goalkeeper into the side as they attempt to avoid relegation from the Scottish Premier League.

Hamstring strain

The 34-year-old Roy picked up a slight hamstring strain last week but he is set to go straight into Saturday's crucial encounter between his new side and Hibernian FC, for what will be Bobby Williamson's first game in charge at Easter Road.

'He has done well'

"We only had Kevin Cuthbert for that position and he is only 19 years old," said Stark. "He has done well for us in that position but it would be unfair to ask him to take us through the rest of the season. That's why we decided to go for someone with more experience, like Ludovic Roy."
