BV Borussia Dortmund coach Matthias Sammer has agreed to terminate his contract with the German club.

BV Borussia Dortmund and coach Matthias Sammer will go their separate ways on 30 June.

Sammer took over Dortmund in 2001 and led them to the Bundesliga crown and the UEFA Cup final in 2002. The 37-year old is currently the favourite to take over as coach of VfB Stuttgart, where he spent two years as a player, winning the German league title in 1992.
