FC Bayern München 2-1 FC Barcelona
Bayern are on a mission to avenge last season's disappointing climax against Chelsea FC. With the Bundesliga already wrapped up and the goals continuing to flow, they will fancy their chances of beating even Barcelona, who have been almost as dominant in their domestic arena this term. It is a thunderous clash of the heavyweights that should go the full distance, with the German side likely to take a narrow advantage to Catalonia.   

Borussia Dortmund 3-2 Real Madrid CF
The 2011/12 champions of Germany and Spain meet for the third time this season with a clean slate, but Dortmund will doubtless take encouragement from the four points they took off their illustrious opponents in the group stage. Madrid's record in Germany is lamentable (one win in 24 attempts), and they will probably find themselves having to win at the Santiago Bernabéu to make it third time lucky under José Mourinho following two successive semi-final defeats.
