Tottenham Hotspur FC have reached an agreement with Grasshopper-Club to sign 18-year-old Reto Ziegler.
Tottenham Hotspur FC have reached an agreement with Grasshopper-Club to sign 18-year-old Reto Ziegler, the Premiership club said on their website on Tuesday.

Swiss exploits
The left-sided Ziegler, who can play midfield or defence, is currently playing in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship where Switzerland have reached the semi-finals.

'Highest level'
"Reto Ziegler is a very young player who has played at the highest level in Switzerland and has been in the Grasshoppers first team for one-and-a-half seasons despite being only 18," Tottenham's sporting director Frank Arnesen said.
