Monaco spell
The Argentinian right-back, who was on loan at Porto's Champions League final opponents AS Monaco FC last season, has agreed a two-year deal. The 30-year-old made ten Champions League appearances for the principality team and scored his only goal of the campaign in the semi-final against Chelsea FC.
Argentinian connection
The former Club Colón and CA Boca Juniors player will join countrymen Maximiliano Rodríguez and Mauricio Pochettino at the Barcelona-based club. Indeed, Pochettino played a key role in the transfer. "He always told me good things about the club, so I'm delighted to have signed for them," Ibarra said.
