Top two to meet in Swiss final

FC Basel will contest the 12 May final of the Swiss Cup with Grasshopper-Club.

FC Basel will contest the final of the Swiss Cup with Grasshopper-Club at their own Saint Jakob stadium after both won their semi-final ties tonight.

Shoot-out success
Basel and BSC Young Boys drew 1-1 after 90 minutes and could not be separated following extra time. The penalty shoot-out was also a tight affair, but Basel edged it 4-3.

Tougher prospect
Grasshoppers had little trouble disposing of Lausanne-Sports 4-1 but will find the league leaders a far tougher prospect in the 12 May final.
