Aalborg take Gaarde

Udinese Calcio's Allan Gaarde has clinched a return to Aalborg BK and the Danish Superliga.
The Udinese Calcio midfield player Allan Gaarde has clinched a return to Aalborg BK after agreeing a three-year contract with the Danish Superleague club.

'Missed you'
The 27-year-old, who struggled to make an impact in Udine following his transfer to Serie A at the start of 2001, will be a welcome addition to the Aalborg ranks. "We're extremely pleased about Allan's return. We have missed his qualities as a football player and also his strong personality and we're convinced Allan will be able to strengthen our squad," the club's director Lynge Jacobsen said.

Just one appearance
Gaarde scored 31 goals in 140 Superliga matches during his first spell with Aalborg. Remarkably, he made just one appearance for Udinese.
