Zalaegerszegi TE have taken top spot of the championship group after beating Újpesti TE.

Zalaegerszegi TE have taken top spot of the championship group after beating Újpesti TE despite going a goal behind early on at the Megyeri úti stadion.

Kenesei penalty
Újpest took the lead through Brazilian striker Túlio's cool finish in the 20th minute. The lead lasted until the second half, but Hungarian international forward Gábor Egressy found the equaliser soon after the break when he scored from ten metres out. Just before the end, Zalaegerszegi won a penalty that Krisztián Kenesei converted for his 19th goal of the season.

Home victory
Videoton FCF earned a 2-1 home victory over Dunaferr SE. Hungarian international play-maker Zsolt Dvéri scored the first in the 24th minute, when he shot from 25 meters into the right corner. Hungarian left-winger István Hamar then sealed the win for Videoton just after the half-hour mark. In the 85th minute, Hungarian midfielder Henrik Rósa earned Dunaferr a consolation after a nice solo-run.

Solitary strike
Ferencvárosi TC beat MTK Hungária 1-0 with midfield player Attila Szili scoring the only goal of the match in the second minute after Slovak Igor Szkukalek's left-wing cross.

Debrecen battle back
In the relegation group, Debreceni VSC and Haladás VSC played out a 2-2 draw at Debrecen. The home side took the lead in the 53th minute when Georgian Kaha Sketiani shot home from 17 metres. Brazilian Leandro scored the equaliser in the 67th minute from 20 meters and Haladás then took the lead when Bosnian striker Almir Filipovic scored after Csaba Somfalfi's left cross. Yet Debrecen were not finished and Hungarian international defender Attila Kuttor equalised in the 73rd minute.

Two for Torghelle
Finally today, Hungarian Under-21 striker Sándor Torghelle scored twice as Kispest Honvéd FC earned a 2-2 draw at Györi ETO FC. Gyor's Robert Semenik scored the first goal of the game in the 63th, but one minute later Torghelle hit his first. Ten minutes later midfielder Balázs Farkas found the net, only for Torghelle to score again for Lajos Détári's side in the 77th minute.
