Espanyol continue to build

Club Atlético de Madrid’s José Juan Luque Jiménez has joined RCD Espanyol on loan for next season.

Club Atlético de Madrid's José Juan Luque Jiménez will play on loan for RCD Espanyol during the coming Primera División season.

'Spanish league is long'
The 24-year old midfield player has already started training at his new club, who have an option to buy the player at the end of the coming season. "What I want as a player is to play and do the best for my team," Luque said. "The Spanish league is very long and in the end everybody gets a chance."

Summer arrivals
Luque is the sixth new player to arrive at the Barcelona-based club during the close season. He joins fellow new recruits Alex Manninger, Xavi Roca, Maximiliano Rodríguez, Alain Boghossian and Fredson Camara at the club.
