Barry ball at The Oval
Nicky Burke and Jamie Moralee scored two goals apiece to secure an impressive away victory at The Oval. Meanwhile, Bangor City FC carried on where they left off in the midweek UEFA Cup defeat of Yugoslavians FK Sartid - winning 4-0 at Haverfordwest County AFC.
Home discomfort
Carmarthen Town AFC also took home maximum points, Chris Miller's goal edging them past hosts Flexys Cefn Druids AFC. As did promoted Welshpool Town AFC, 1-0 victors at Llanelli FC, and Afan Lido FC, who beat Newtown AFC by the odd goal in three.
Nomads travel well
Connah's Quay Nomads FC continued the sequence as they overcame Oswestry Town FC 3-2, with Andy Griffith's effort dividing the sides. While Port Talbot FC drew 0-0 with Caersws FC.
Town break sequence
So, remarkably, Cwmbran Town FC were the only home team to win, 2-1 against Aberystwyth Town FC in Friday night's league curtain-raiser. Adam Moore scored both their goals.
