Totti pledges future to Roma

Talismanic captain Francesco Totti has renewed his contract with AS Roma until June 2010, when he will be 33.

Francesco Totti has renewed his contract with AS Roma until June 2010, committing himself to the Giallorossi until the age of 33.

Roma service
The 28-year-old international, who was born in the Italian capital and has spent his entire career with Roma, made his Serie A debut in March 1993. He was a first-team regular by 1994/95 and in 2001 he led Roma to only the second Serie A title in their history.

Coppa chance
Totti, who will earn €10.4m per season under the terms of his new contract, has scored 110 Serie A goals in more than 300 games for the Giallorossi during his career, and has also won 45 caps for Italy, scoring eight times. Roma will face FC Internazionale Milano in the Coppa Italia final on 12 and 15 June.
