Sevilla FC coach Joaquín Caparrós has announced that he will not be renewing his contract after five years in charge at the club.

Contract rejected
The 49-year-old is reported to have been offered a two-season contract extension with Sevilla but informed the Spanish club this evening of his decision to move on. Caparrós arrived in the Andalucian capital ahead of the 2000/01 season, after a brief spell at Villarreal CF, and had just secured another UEFA Cup campaign with a sixth-place finish.
