Real Madrid CF midfield player Fernando Fernández has joined Real Betis Balompié in a €3m deal that will keep him at the club for six years.

No place in Madrid squad
The 23-year-old scored 15 goals in 32 appearances while on loan with Real Valladolid last season, but even that was not enough to win him a place in the Madrid squad.

'Joy and satisfaction'
"It is a real joy and a satisfaction to have joined Betis," Fernández said today on Betis 'official website. "I had other offers, but Betis' was the best and I had no doubts in deciding."
