Two goals from David Lafata gave SK Ceské Budéjovice victory against FC Baník Ostrava, their second win of the season.

Goalmouth scramble
Lafata headed Ceské into the lead against the run of play in the 14th minute, but Zdenek Pospech equalised with a similar effort three minutes later. Ceské then began to dominate and Lafata struck the winning goal when he turned the ball over the line following a goalmouth scramble in the 31st minute.

Superb save
Vaclav Sverkos almost levelled in the dying seconds, but Ceské goalkeeper Miroslav Seman made a superb save to ensure his side held their 2-1 lead and collected all three points.
