Aarau add to strike force

FC Aarau have signed striker Rainer Bieli on loan from FC St. Gallen.

FC Aarau have signed striker Rainer Bieli on loan from FC St. Gallen until the end of the season.

Linking up with former coach
The 23-year-old Bieli, who previously played under Aarau coach Alain Geiger at Neuchâtel Xamax FC, will make his debut against Grasshopper-Club on Saturday. Aarau are currently bottom of the 12-team Nationalliga A with eight points from 13 games. They have scored only ten times this season.

Newly promoted
Aarau were promoted to the first division this season after the demotion of FC Lugano, FC Sion and Lausanne-Sports because of the financial instability of the three clubs.
