Norway round-up: Odds upset Viking

UEFA Cup heroes Viking FK went down 3-0 at home against Odds BK in the Tippeliga on Monday night.
Viking FK's hopes of finishing third in the Tippeliga were dented last night as Norway's UEFA Cup hopefuls went down 3-0 at home against Odds BK.

Home subsidence
Four days after their sensational 4-2 win against Chelsea FC, second-round qualifiers Viking suffered their first home defeat in 16 months to stay three points behind the top three.

Sunk by Bjerg
Christian Flindt Bjerg's late strike sealed the victory after goals either side of half-time from Alexander Aas and Morten Fevang had made things comfortable for the visitors.

International break
There follows a 13-day break in the Tippeliga programme for Norway's EURO 2004™ ties against Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
