Turkish strugglers Kocaelispor have brought back coach Güvenç Kurtar to replace Hikmet Kahraman.
Turkish strugglers Kocaelispor have brought back former coach Güvenç Kurtar to replace Hikmet Kahraman who resigned earlier this week.

Room for improvement
After signing a one-year contract, Kurtar said his immediate task was to improve the standing of the Turkish Super League's bottom club: "I know Kocaelispor are not in a good state, but with the help of everyone concerned we can carry the team to a more respectable position."

'Get behind us'
"The condition the club is in is only temporary," he added. "We just need the fans and the media to get behind us." Kocaelispor have lost seven of eight league games this season.
