France round-up: Brazilian boosts Marseille

Lucio Fernandão's goal gave Olympique de Marseille a 1-0 win against RC Strasbourg on Sunday.

Brazilian forward Lucio Fernandão was in luck for Olympique de Marseille as his goal gave them a 1-0 victory against RC Strasbourg in Sunday's Ligue 1 fixture.

Only goal
Marseille dominated throughout, but their only goal came when Fernandão's 23rd minute shot, which looked to be going over, hit Strasbourg goalkeeper Nicolas Bonis's foot and went in.

PSG meeting
The victory puts Marseille into fourth place, level on 20 points with Paris Saint-Germain FC and a point behind leaders OGC Nice and AJ Auxerre. PSG host Marseille next weekend.
