Former Ghanaian international Daniel Addo is among the players to try their hand in the F.Y.R. Macedonian top flight following a flurry of January transfer activity.
Former Bayer 04 Leverkusen midfielder Addo has joined FK Vardar, the most prominent of seven new arrivals at the club. Vardar have also brought in F.Y.R. Macedonia Under-21 defender Daniel Ivanovski from FK Sileks, former Serbia and Montenegro international Filip Despotovski, Vladan Kostić from FK Vojvodina and FK Baskimi's Blagoja Gjurcevski. Minas Osmani has also returned after a six-month loan spell at FK Vlazrimi.
Current league leaders FK Rabotnicki have also boosted their ranks. Dragoljub Jeremić has arrived from FK Partizan on a one-year loan deal. The 27-year-old midfielder, who has been capped four times by Serbia and Montenegro, is joined at his new club by compatriot Petar Matović from FK Sloga Kraljevo. The defending champions have also added Metodija Stepanovski and Nikola Stojanovski to their first-team squad.
FK Makedonija Skopje, meanwhile, have drafted in five new players, including loan signing Macedonia U21 international Hristijan Kirovski of OFK Beograd. Vladan Milosavljević has signed from FK Obilic and Gjoko Cvetanovski of FK Cementarnica 55 and FK Zemun's Dimitrija Lazarevski are also among the new arrivals.
Lazar Karakolev and Pance Ristevski have joined FK Pobeda, who have also signed Obilic's Marko Jovanović, while FK Renova have turned to Africa for their new recruits, signing five Cameroonians.
