Ravoussis accepts Akratitos challenge

Petros Ravoussis is the new coach of Akratitos FC after Frans Adelaar left the club by mutual consent.

Dutch coach Frans Adelaar has parted company with Akratitos FC by mutual consent after the side's 5-1 defeat in the Hellenic National League against Proodeftiki FC yesterday.

Six-month contract
His successor is Petros Ravoussis, a former player and head coach of AEK Athens FC. Ravoussis, who was in charge of AEK during the 1996/97 season, has agreed a six-month contract with Akratitos with an option for a further year.

Sixth change
Akratitos have just four points after seven matches of the current campaign and have become the sixth top-flight club in Greece to change their coach this season.
