Greece defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos, 26, has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a two-year contract after being released by Rangers FC.

Greece defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a two-year contract after being released by Rangers FC.

UEFA Cup
The 26-year-old passed a medical last night and will soon link up with his new team-mates as they prepare for a season which will see them compete in the UEFA Cup. Capped 19 times, Kyrgiakos spent two years in Glasgow, winning a championship and the Scottish League Cup, after making his name at Panathinaikos FC.
