Bolton Wanderers FC will be without French Under-21 international Bernard Mendy for six weeks.
Allardyce disappointed
The struggling English Premiership club said the player, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain FC, fractured his leg while on U21 duty for his country on Tuesday against Yugoslavia. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce said: "Bernard has been playing very well recently and it will be a huge blow
to our selection plans for the forthcoming games."
Rising star
The 21-year-old Mendy had spent the past two seasons with Ligue 1 side PSG after joining them from SM Caen. Bolton are third from bottom in the Premiership table, having won only three of their 13 matches.
