Modena FC have signed Danish goalkeeper Rune Pedersen from FC København on a three-year contract.

Modena FC have signed Danish goalkeeper Rune Pedersen from FC København on a three-year contract.

One for the future
The 23-year-old is considered one of the most talented young goalkeepers in Denmark and has been signed by Modena coach Luigi De Biasi as a long-term replacement for veteran Marco Ballotta, who, at 39, is expected to retire in the summer.

Third winter arrival
Pedersen is the third player to arrive at the Braglia stadium during the winter transfer window after defender Emiliano Moretti from Juventus FC and midfield player Antonio Marascofrom Palermo. Modena are currently 12th in Serie A, four points above relegation zone.
