'Very happy'
The 26-year-old Brazilian has been on loan at AEK since August but will now stay in the Greek capital until 2010. "I am very happy with this development," said Manduca who helped his side finish second behind Olympiacos CFP. "AEK were my first choice - I wanted to stay here. I have adjusted well to life in Greece." Manduca played in 23 league matches, scoring five goals, while he also made three UEFA Champions League appearances. "Now the contract issue has been resolved, I can focus my full attention on AEK," he added. "We had a good year and hopefully, with the addition of new players, we will do even better next season and fight for the league title."
