Bayer 04 Leverkusen have made two further defensive signings for next season's Bundesliga and UEFA Cup campaigns with the arrival of Hans Sarpei and Sascha Dum.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen have made two further defensive signings for next season’s Bundesliga and UEFA Cup campaigns with the arrival of Hans Sarpei and Sascha Dum.

World Cup experience
Having acquired German international Lukas Sinkiewicz on Wednesday, Leverkusen have signed the 30-year-old Ghana full-back Sarpei, who played at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, from VfL Wolfsburg on a two-year contract. Dum, meanwhile, returns having spent the last 18 months on loan at TSV Alemannia Aachen. The 20-year-old left-back will now stay with Leverkusen until summer 2009.
