Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven have signed versatile left-sided defender Mike Zonneveld on a four-year contract from NAC Breda.

'Huge challenge'
The 26-year-old, who can play at left-back or on the left of midfield, moves to Eindhoven for an undisclosed fee to join a club who secured their third successive Dutch title - and a UEFA Champions League group stage place - on the final day of the campaign. "PSV are the leading team in the Netherlands, and in Europe they will play in the Champions League for the eleventh time running," said Zonneveld, who began his career in AFC Ajax's youth ranks and had spells with Go Ahead Eagles and NEC Nijmegen before arriving at NAC in 2004. "This is a beautiful step and a huge challenge for me."
