Polish international Przemysław Kaźmierczak described FC Porto as a "fantastic club" after being unveiled as the Portuguese champions' latest signing on Thursday.
Boavista spell
The 25-year-old midfielder scored five times in 29 matches while on loan at Porto's city rivals Boavista FC from Polish side MKS Pogon Szczecin last season - impressing sufficiently to earn a three-year contract with the UEFA Champions League contenders. "I am about to start a new life at a fantastic club I didn't expect to be playing for," Kaźmierczak told Porto's website. The towering 1.92m Pole becomes the club's fourth summer recruit following the acquisition of Brazilian trio Lino, Fernando and Edgar.
