Josep Linares has been named as the new trainer of the Andorran futsal side while the Principality sent a women's team to a recent friendly tournament in Catalonia.

Bristol trip
Linares will take charge of the national team for the first time as Andorra head to Bristol for two games against the England national team on 29 and 30 October. Meanwhile, the Andorran Football Federation's new women's team, named ENFAF, participated in a tournament hosted by the Catalan Football Federation in Sitges, reaching the semi-finals where they lost out to La Canya. Andorra are yet to field a national women's team at a major international tournament.
