Reunited with coach
The 20-year-old will complete the current season at Swiss outfit FC Aarau, where he is on loan, before linking up with former coach Walter Schachner for a second time. Schachner was in charge of the FC Kärnten side that won the first division title in 2001 in which Pogatetz starred and was spotted by Leverkusen.

In demand
"I am sure that Schachner is the right man for my further development,'' said Pogatetz, who was also courted by other clubs in Austria and Germany. The left-sided Austrian international started his career with SK Sturm Graz but it was at Kärnten that he made his name.

Crunch match
Grazer are third in the Austrian Bundesliga, four points behind surprise package SV Pasching, who occupy the second of the two UEFA Champions League places on offer. The two sides meet on Sunday.
