Athletic Club Bilbao goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a thigh injury.

Injury aggravated
The 26-year-old, who signed for Athletic last summer from UEFA Cup finalists RCD Espanyol, first sustained the muscular injury in November in a Copa del Rey match against Hércules CF. On his return last Saturday against Sevilla FC, he exacerbated the old problem in the first half, necessitating surgery. Experienced understudy Dani Aranzubía is expected to continue in goal for Athletic.
