Twelve-month extension
Aguilera has agreed a 12-month contract extension with the club, which takes him through to 30 June next year. Aguilera is in his second spell with Atlético, whose financial problems mean they must cut costs this summer, and where he has spent the full duration of his career save for three years at CD Tenerife from 1993-96.
