Hammarby move for Marteinsson

Hammarby have signed Iceland midfield player Petur Marteinsson for the rest of the season.
Hammarby have signed Iceland midfield player Petur Marteinsson from English first division side Stoke City FC for the rest of the season.

Winner against Faroes
The 30-year-old Marteinsson, who has 25 caps, scored the winning goal against the Faroe Islands last month to take Iceland top of UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying Group 5, one point ahead of Germany. Marteinsson joined Stoke in 2002 having spent four seasons with Norway's Stabæk IF.
