FK Partizan defender Nenad Miskovic will be sidelined for two months after an injury suffered in the UEFA Cup second round second-leg defeat against SK Slavia Praha last Thursday.
Ligament tear
The Bosnia-Herzegovnian international’s right knee ligaments were torn in the fourth minute of the match in Prague, which Yugoslavian First League leaders Partizan lost 5-1.
'It was very painful'
"I felt I was losing the ground under my feet," said Miskovic. "It was very painful. I am looking towards a long recovery, but luckily the first part of the season is almost over, with no national team responsibilities. I will be fully recovered in the spring."
