EURO tickets up for grabs

Talented teams
The cream of this continent's talent, including the holders and world champions Germany, will compete over two weeks at five venues in the north-west of England, with the action getting under way on Sunday 6 June. That day sees the hosts England tackle Finland and Scandinavian bragging rights placed on the line as Sweden tackle Denmark.

Successful nations
Those two games are in Group A. The second pool starts 24 hours later as Europe's two most successful women's nations, Germany and Norway, meet along with France and Italy.

Host clubs
Tickets for all the matches are on sale now, priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions. Tickets can be purchased from the five host club ticket offices or by calling the clubs' ticket hotline numbers below (if you are calling from outside the UK please dial 0044 and drop the first zero before each number):

'Massive tournament'
Football Association chief executive Brian Barwick said: "We are proud to be hosting WOMEN'S EURO 2005. It will be a massive tournament showcasing the best of the women's game and I hope the football public will embrace it and make it an event to remember."
