Duo set scoring standards

Germany's Conny Pohlers and Marinette Pichon of France lead the scoring charts at UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2005™.

Pichon class
The pair have both scored twice, with Pichon taking her international goal tally to 76 with a double in France's opening Group B win against Italy. She could not add another against Norway, but France remain in contention for a semi-final berth and Pichon will no doubt be looking to add to her tally in the matches ahead.

Pohlers quality
She faces stiff competition from Pohlers, however, who has continued the form that recently helped 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam to victories in the finals of both the UEFA Women's Cup and German Cup. The 26-year-old has scored in both Germany's games so far as the world champions booked a semi-final berth with a game to spare.

Scoring depth
After missing the opening game, Pohlers' team-mate Birgit Prinz quickly opened her account against Italy and is one of 16 players with one goal to their name.
