Coral suits ambitious Guimarães

Vitória SC have made striker Jean Coral their fourth summer signing as the Guimaraes-based side, third in Portugal last term, plan for a UEFA Champions League debut.

Vitória SC have made Brazilian forward Jean Coral their fourth summer signing as the Guimaraes-based club – third in Portugal last season – prepare for a UEFA Champions League debut.

Reinforcements
Coral has joined the northern Portuguese side on a three-year contract, with Vitória paying Brazilian team Criciúma EC an undisclosed fee for his services. "I'll try to do my best," the striker said. The newcomer is coach Manuel Cajuda's fourth recruit after 27-year-old French centre-back Grégory Arnolin, 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder Wênio – both signed from Liga rivals CS Marítimo – and 19-year-old right-back José Lionn from lower-league SCU Torreense. Guimarães will kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round next month.
