David Beckham will stay at AC Milan until the end of the season after the Rossoneri reached an agreement with LA Galaxy to extend the player's loan deal.

Agreement

The former Manchester United FC and Real Madrid CF midfielder will remain in Italy before returning to the Major League Soccer outfit at the start of July, to resume the five-year contract he signed in 2007. Beckham, 33, joined Milan on short-term loan in January to stay in shape during the close season in the United States, and has become a regular in Carlo Ancelotti's team, scoring twice in nine Serie A games. Beckham chose to move to Milan as he wanted to maintain his England place before the 2010 FIFA World Cup, having last month equalled Bobby Moore's national record for an outfielder of 108 caps.

'Dream come true'
"I'm grateful to both clubs for making this dream come true," said Beckham. "I will be able to play for Milan and Galaxy in the same season, hence keeping my commitment to Major League Soccer in order to develop football in the US, which is something I feel really passionate about."
