Berntsen hope
The 27-year-old Stabæk FK player broke down during Norway's preparations on Thursday, and coach Bjarne Berntsen is keeping his fingers crossed that Rønning will be fit when his team begin their Group B campaign with a rematch of the 2005 final against Germany in Tampere on 24 August. "Trine has struggled with her knee this year," Berntsen said. "I hope she will be fit for the finals, there is still over two weeks left."

Friendly off
Meanwhile, Norway's scheduled friendly against North Korea in Moss on 14 August has been called off. They will complete their preparations against Sweden in Enkoping five days later.
