FC Girondins de Bordeaux suffered a 2-0 loss at LOSC Lille Métropole but remain top of Ligue 1 after second-placed Olympique Lyonnais took only a point from a thrilling 5-5 draw with Olympique de Marseille.

Lisandro double
Lyon led twice against OM through Miralem Pjanić (3) and Sidney Govou (14) but were twice pegged back before half-time by Souleymane Diawara and Benoît Cheyrou. Didier Deschamps's side looked to have taken a decisive advantage themselves through Bakari Koné (47) and Brandão (79) but their hosts had other ideas. Lisandro struck his first league goal since 29 August on 81 minutes and drew his side level three minutes later from the penalty spot, leaving Michel Bastos to add what appeared the most unlikely of winners. There was to be one further twist, however, with Jérémy Toulalan turning into his own net two minutes into added time to give Marseille and Bordeaux, now one point clear at the summit, a welcome reprieve.

Late goals
Earlier in the day, Les Girondins had opened the door for Lyon after a third straight away defeat in the league. Laurent Blanc's charges had recovered from losses at AS Saint-Etienne and AJ Auxerre by winning two home domestic matches and completing a UEFA Champions League double over FC Bayern München but those exploits appeared to take their toll as Les Dogues dominated. The hosts eventually were rewarded 20 minutes from time when Yohan Cabaye fired in after Cédric Carrasso had parried Pierre-Alain Frau's effort and confirmed victory late on when Florent Balmont converted a penalty, awarded for Michaël Ciani's foul on Larsen Touré.

Toulouse success
Lille's fellow UEFA Europa League contenders Toulouse FC were the other Sunday winners as they held off Stade Rennais FC 3-2. Moussa Sissoko's 31st-minute strike was cancelled out on the stroke of half-time by Asamoah Gyan, but Les Pitchounes opened up a decisive advantage with a quickfire second-half double from Daniel Braaten and André-Pierre Gignac. Kader Mangane (84) set up a frenetic finish but the home side held on.
