Ukrainian runners-up FC Dynamo Kyiv have made their first signing of the summer, bringing in 19-year-old Argentina midfielder Facundo Bertoglio on a five-year deal.
Bertoglio will officially join Dynamo, who take part in UEFA Champions League qualifying next season, from CA Colón on 11 June. He made his league debut in Argentina just 12 months ago but has gone on to appear in 42 games for Colón, striking four goals. Bertoglio won his first international cap in the 4-0 friendly win against Haiti earlier this month – scoring twice – although he did not make Diego Maradona's FIFA World Cup squad.
Dynamo president Ihor Surkis said: "We followed Bertoglio for the whole of last season. He is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Argentina and his recent call-up to the national squad confirms that. He'll have to adapt quickly and start playing his trademark football – I believe he'll do that and become a regular."
