The UEFA Training Ground has strengthened its standing as one of Europe's leading grassroots football websites by offering its key content in eight new languages.

In addition to the existing English content, this new multilingual service will allow users to watch some of their favourite videos, including skills masterclasses with UEFA Champions League players and tactical advice from top coaches in French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish and Ukrainian.

Continuing the redevelopment of the site following its relaunch in April, users can now see over 50 videos in all nine languages, while also being able to access over 300 features on the original English language version. Videos included in the first phase of the multilingual process include Zlatan Ibrahimović's striker tips and the Fulham FC manager Roy Hodgson providing a guide to the pros and cons of the 4-4-2 system. More videos will be launched in all languages over the coming months.

The website, which was originally launched in May 2007, offers the opportunity for youngsters to learn the skills to help them develop their game from top names like Ibrahimović, Xavi Hernández and Andrea Pirlo. All have provided exclusive step-by-step video masterclasses on skills ranging from how to take the perfect free-kick to saving a penalty.

The UEFA Training Ground also continues to be a one-stop resource for coaches. Respected experts such as Lars Lagerbäck and Real Madrid CF's Manuel Pellegrini offer the lowdown on tactical dilemmas – such as how to deal with the threat of a player like Lionel Messi – and the benefits and drawbacks of formations ranging from 4-4-2 to 3-5-2. Meanwhile, coaches can get training drills on the site, straight from the Royal Spanish Football Federation's (RFEF) coaching manual.

The new Extra Time section features videos revealing all you need to know about futsal, beach soccer and street soccer, as well as sensational creative skills courtesy of regular contributor Paul 'Woody' Wood, all now available in nine languages. The UEFA Training Ground has also launched its first game – You're the Boss - a football management game that lets you step into the shoes of José Mourinho or Sir Alex Ferguson as you attempt to guide a team from grassroots obscurity to the UEFA Champions League.
