LOSC Lille Métropole extended their lead at the Ligue 1 summit after a 1-0 win at AS Nancy-Lorraine.

Eden Hazard was the visitors' match-winner, striking in added time at the end of the first half. Lille sit four points clear of defending champions Olympique de Marseille, who travel to fourth-placed Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday. The loss leaves Nancy occupying the last relegation spot, one point from safety with four games remaining.

Elsewhere, FC Sochaux-Montbéliard won 4-0 at FC Girondins de Bordeaux to go sixth with all the goals coming in the first half-hour. The defeat prompted the resignation of Bordeaux coach Jean Tigana, who will be replaced by physical trainer Éric Bedouet until the end of the season. Paris Saint-Germain FC missed the chance to pull within three points of second-placed Olympique de Marseille after a 1-1 draw at AS Monaco FC.
