Carlos Eduardo has joined Portuguese champions FC Porto from GD Estoril-Praia for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder caught the eye this season with four goals in 29 top-flight games. "I'm very happy," said the 23-year-old, who helped promoted Estoril-Praia to a surprising fifth-placed finish to earn the club a maiden campaign in the UEFA Europa League.
"My expectations are to win trophies," added the Brazilian. "I have come to a winning club." Porto will compete in the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League group stage.
