Madrid youngster crosses to Vallecano

Rayo Vallecano have taken Real Madrid CF player Julio Álvarez Mosquera on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old has spent much of the last two seasons on loan at Racing Santander, playing 34 matches, and has yet to break into the UEFA Champions League holders' first team.

'Happy and excited'
"I'm very happy and excited to come to Rayo," the right midfield player told Spanish newspaper Marca. "I am grateful for the confidence they have shown in me and I hope to give everything on the field." Vallecano finished eleventh in the Primera División last season.
